One of the times I fought DXPP, I fought him with my warcy barb teamed up with a hammerdin. I'm not sure of the hammerdin's skill lvls, but they had to be pretty high. My warcry barb most likely did a very insignificant portion of the damage, but we did damage him slightly faster than he was regening.
He was spawned with a single player only though, I'd have to agree that on a 8 player spawn, there might not be a solo character that can take him without PMH. The regen is simply horrendous.
