The Diablo Clone cometh (maybe)

What are my chances of him coming any second now? I have no idea how this works. I have never faced the clone myself. For all of you who know the drill, should I just stay in game until he arrives, or does this happen all the time without any clone actually appearing?

I'm up to 1341 now (screenshot is about 15-20 minutes old)

Any useful tips will be most appreciated

With how high a degree of certainty do you make that claim? :)

When the messages appeared, they came every other minute. Now it's been 10-15 minutes without a single message. The count stopped at 1345. I will hold the game open till tomorrow morning, to see if there's any progress.

With that much activity in a server, it is safe to say there is an organized "effort" to pop a server. By server, I mean the certain IP of the bnet server you're connected to. (to figure this out, start-->run "cmd" and type in netstat to the prompt. The bnet connection is port 4000, and the "server" is the number to the direct left of the colon. )


Oh, BTW, I hope you know the endless-run trick, or that game will be gone in the morning :P

Yes, I do know the endless run-trick, and the game is still open (8 hours later.) Sadly, not 1 more soj has been sold. I will remain in this game for a day longer to see if there's any change, but I suspect I lost it. :(

I waited all day, and not a single soj was sold. I decided to play some more in the same game, when it all of a sudden froze as I was about to enter the Pandemonium Fortress. Game was lost. But it's no tragedy, I don't think DC would've appeared any time soon anyway. Besides, I already have an Annihilus charm. (I got "matrixclan"'s accounts when he decided to stop playing the game. He asked on the b.net trading forum who could tell him the meaning of life, and my explanation was most satisfactory. I got lots of stuff from him, including the Annihilus.)
