WoW Shelves Restocked?

I've noticed a dramatic spike in server problems on my server within the last few days. I'm guessing this is probably because they restocked the shelves and there's a surge of new players. I play on a PvP server, and the two new PvP servers apparently didn't help at all - not surprising, since you have to start new characters there.

Now, Blizzard said the reason for them holding off on restocks was to ensure that the game would run smoothly for everyone. Doesn't seem to have done any good on my server.

How are things on the other servers? Has anyone noticed any improvements since the first few weeks of launch?

I play on a high pop server and a low pop server. Low pop server is MUCH better.

That said, I'm still evaluating the last patch. I can actually move between the Bank and the AH in IF now without lag hangs. On the other hand, I've had weird locks and crashes I'd never seen before.
