I'd been strictly flying solo
In a game known as Diablo,
When I logged onto the Internet
To look for some advice.

In my information scroungin,'
I soon found the Lurker Lounge, 'n'
It was hosting Jarulf's Guide, and I thought,
"Hey, that's really nice!"

I found lots of cool suggestions,
Lots of answers to my questions,
As I Lurked the Lounge's Forums when
I wasn't in the game.

Then I took an action fateful
(To this very day I'm grateful!)--
Since I clicked the link to Realms Beyond,
I've never been the same!

Since my nature is contrariant,
I soon devised a variant
I played till many, many, many
Glorious hours were gone.

Though Diablo sure amused me,
D2LoD seduced me,
And another Lounge link took me to the
Basin (Amazon).

Now I think it's time to mention
That it's come to my attention
That the Lurker Lounge's founder
Doth today turn twenty-eight.

Hope this humble verse will show ya
That I know how much I owe ya...
Thanks and Happy Birthday, Bolty,
And I hope your day is great! :)

Enjoy it while it lasts! When you turn 30, it all turns to @&#%!

All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.

"Isn't this where...."

Love changes too.

Before 30. You can strut through a room proudly with the lights on. Maybe hanging a little hat or something off of nature's coat hanger.

After 30, you turn off the lights and dart through the room in shame, not daring to play any silly games hanging objects off of something.

After about 50 or so, you stop caring. And walk around as naked as possible all of the time.

All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.

Nudity is a self evident birthright. It's the one thing all humans have in common. There is no wrong in it.

I reckon I understand. Looks like cottage cheese or something back there. Road rash, animal bites, bullets, all kinds of scar tissue.

I am lucky to still have an ass! Mine has character. :P

Cool poem! Made me laugh quite a bit. Thanks, everyone.

Yes, I leveled up once again. This time I placed my talent point into "Increased Gaming Influence," providing me with a now 30% chance to get Wife to start playing games. Wife is a "pet" that I picked up a while back, but now I start to wonder who is the pet and who is the controller. I understand this is normal for those who have picked up the marriage profession. Others have told me that gathering professions are more enjoyable, but I figured that eventually I'd like to actually make something with the mats I've picked up while leveling.

Maybe I should respec to put more talent points into "Handy Man" and start developing my Cooking skill, but that's just so expensive!

*delurk*

Respec on plumbing saves good money, strongly recommend. Respec on cocking skills not usually needed, as you have just opened up a whole new talent tree via honeymoon quest completion.

Ooops, you said cooking skills . . .

Happy Birthday, Boltster, may you see a hundred more before your back starts to hurt.
