I have a unique job offer for all of you. I know you must see these threads started in forums all the time, but trust me, this one actually works! I can promise you that you will make a ton of money in a single week, spamming various forums with incindiary troll threads.

All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.

Doc:

I am going to be a stick in the mud. I would hope that Bolty could trust us not to be a bunch of trolling wankers while he was away. Let's not repay his hospitality with such devalued coin. ;)

All political parties are fools. I am right, you all are wrong.

My position is contrary to the position you're contrary of. And I'm better than you.

Your football team sucks worse. We all know soccer is the king of all sports, anyway.

Yale sucks. Harvard owns.

DIAF NUB!

You are a douchebagel.

I am SO not a douchebagel.

Your contrary position and my contrary position are the same. We are both contrary to that position according to your post.

I go away for 6 weeks, and when I come back this is what's at the top of the Lounge?

You know, I became a moderator here because people were posting stupid stuff when Bolty went away.

I don't care whether you were joking or not- this forum is not your personal chatroom. Please don't treat it as one.

PS- Uh, hi everyone. I don't think I can catch up after being gone for 6 weeks or so. But I'm back now, I think. Unless all the new threads are like this one.
Why can't we all just get along

Well, the last post of this nature turned out entirely too serious and wound up feeling like an afterschool special at the end.

Welcome back Grissy.

We have floundered here with out your guidance. Shadow had to step in and pick up the slack.

My reply, post #2, was of course ignored. Welcome back, Gris. :D

Well, we could use this thread as a fixerupper. Remember the last post we used, we turned it in to a productive post about pie?

I propose we turn this in to a "Why We Love Griselda Thread."

I love Griselda because her Cthulhu avatars never fail to bring me joy. (And drive me further down the path of insanity that mortals were never meant to comprehend.)

I love Griselda for Lindt™ Chocolate Truffles.

I love Griselda because I have never seen her lose her temper, pout or whine, no matter what the provocation. *Carefully avoids looking at certain 'agents provocateur'*

I love Griselda because she inspires us all to behave like better people.

I love Griselda for putting up with this largely thankless job for so long.

Agent Provocateur. I like that. That could be a neato custom user title. So much classier than grumpy old fart. Sophisticated.

I love Shadow because she gives me the means to project a better image of my self with out changing any part of what I am.

I love Doc because he's over 100 years old and still getting into trouble. Oh yeah, and I loved the potat-OWNED thing. :D

P.S. - I'm married. Don't go getting any funny ideas.

I hate Griselda. and Bolty as well. :)

(I don't, actually, just there are enough posts about liking them that I feel the need to contrast.)

The lounge has seemed to be "falling down" lately. Could use less "doc, Pete, Occhidangela goof off" threads.

Pete? Are you reading the same LL as me?

He hasent said all that much since he came back. Im sure he said something here or there silly(which is cool) but he certainly isnt a problem.

Doc on the other hand has become rather spamtastic and Occhi has over developed his penchant for trying to turn disagreements into clever jokes, lately.

But I dont "Love Griselda".

I think I should refrain from saying more.

I love Ghostiger for his poofy fluffy hair.

Those little trolls bring back many childhood memories of melted plastic.
--Mith

I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The proper function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them. I shall use my time.
