Setting: Pubbie Baron raid.
Situation: I'm the only Priest. Prayer of Fortitude on both groups is ending. Cleoboltra: "Time out please, I need to buff everyone." (Warriors ignore request and pull another group) Cleoboltra: "Joining fight, buffing halted." (Fight ends) Cleoboltra: "Time out please, I need to buff everyone." (Warriors ignore request and pull another group) Cleoboltra: "Joining fight, buffing halted." Warrior 1: "Less yakkin more hackin" (actual quote) Cleoboltra: "Okay, no buffs for you." Warrior 1: "kk" 2 pulls later, the warriors stop. Warrior 1: "fort plz" Cleoboltra: "I'll think about it." I then proceed to sit and wait for 2 minutes while everyone stands around. Warlock: "fort plz?" Rogue 1: "fort plz?" Warrior 2: "Maybe you shouldn't have been such a jerk, <Warrior 1>" Cleoboltra: "Oh, NOW you want me to buff you." Cleoboltra: "Considering buffing this entire raid costs me my entire mana pool and 18 silver, so you need to STOP AND WAIT for me to get my mana back SO I CAN KEEP YOU ALIVE, maybe the next time I tell you to stop you should wait." Warrior 1 remains silent. I buff the raid. Any mages just respond to water whispers with "sorry, I'm a warlock/priest?". I've been doing this on my alt, and no one has ever called me on it :P.

True story: I was runninga round in Tanaris on my priest Krystian when I got a tell asking for a summon. I replied back saying I couldn't help as I was a priest. The person apologized and I went back to killing. A little while later I got a tell from the same person asking if I wanted to be the healer for his ZF group. I replied with "Sorry I'm a warlock." :D |
