Quote:Mohammed Ali (the boxer) was an avid shill for the Black Muslim movement for much of his professional boxing career.

Yes he was. He was also very, very close friends with X. And when X went to Mecca and said that had Elijah had lied to them, that he had seen white Muslims, Ali said some stupid stuff... Their friendship suffered, and Ali made quite a few threats to X. Threats like "I am gonna KILL you sucka!" Malcolm's message of peace unsettled Ali.
I think one of the dumbest things I have ever heard were the words "White Muslims don't exist. Just a lie said by a former brother to discredit his mentor, the man who saved him. Islam is a black faith."
I am not sure how this could have happened in the modern age, could a man really be that isolated that he honestly believes that there could have been no white folks circling Mecca? Could a man honestly not know, not see in a news paper, tv, etc, that Muslims were multi-coloured?
Been thinking a lot about this lately. Dunno why. We need better leaders for the minority in this country... Jesse Jackson is an asshole, Sharpton is a dimwit. Both of those men are racist vultures, creating misery so they're never out of a job.
X and King... We need you. Where have you gone?
All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.
"Isn't this where...."
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.
"Isn't this where...."
