Nature's Peace Ring and Undead Stygian Dolls

We all know how annoying those Undead Stygian Dolls can be when they Corpse Explode on death and potentially wipe a character right next to them.

This brings me to my question.

Does a Nature's Peace Ring prevent the Undead Stygian Dolls from Corpse Exploding on death? If so, this could be a very nice ring to have doing Mephisto magic finding.

No. Even with RIP equipment, they'll still explode on death, causing damage.

Partly cos they don't actually corpse explode...

How is there explosive damage calculated then? Isn't it like Corpse Explosion? 50% Fire 50% Physical, and 60%-100% of their total life (use normal difficulty life for calculation regardless of difficulty)?

I'm only guessing since I don't own any RIP items, but Fire-Enchanted bosses probably still go boom. So do Frenzied Ice Boars. RIP only works against ressurections and Nihlathak. Doesn't prevent "create effect when creature dies" effects.
