Anyone know how to upgrade a character from 'Normal' difficulty setting, to 'Nightmare' once they have beaten Baal?

Because I have just beaten the big bad boss of Act V, my Barbarian is now level 34, and has been given the title of 'Slayer'.

You can now join nightmare games, or set the game difficulty to nightmare when you create a game. There's nothing special you have to do.
