Rune Problem

I have a level 21 Necro on a single player comp ( its not hooked up to internet) in v1.07 and even though its normal when i do countess rnus i never get runes, But for some reason my lvl 25 barb in single player mode on my internet ready v1.10 always gets them in normal from the countess. Why and how do i fix that so i an get runes? ahh well please tell me if you know.

The rune drop was introduced in 1.09. So if you want to get runes from the Countess, you'll have to somehow get patch 1.09 or 1.10 to that computer.
