My god, I've been such a tool.
I got to play around with Sasser today (I'll spare the details, as I'm too tired to type out my adventure) and I finally got around to downloading ZoneAlarm. Most "alarms" that programs like ZoneAlarm report are not actual "attacks", but perfectly "legal" connection attempts that would be completely undangerous even if the firewall was not running.  |
