I know there are some others in the Lounge.
May your families treat you royally. B)
I am off to my beloved cottage where I will collect my (now-firmly-established-as-a-family-tradition) Breakfast on Dockâ¢. (Rain, shine, snow or hail - I will be out there. :D )

(. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . < Use these wisely.) Way to screw up a perfectly good thread, dingbat. You're getting more annoying by the hour.
you screw it up further by not taking your complaint to pm?

Trolling is not cute. DeeBye is perfectly within his limits to point it out.

A: Wrong. Free speech is not applicable on Internet forums. This is a private forum run by Bolty and the Lurker Lounge administrators. Is it mother's day already? I thought mother's day only occurred on sundays, or am I thinking of something else? Anyway, I mowed the lawn today without complaining, so I suppose that's present enough :)
I usually get her flowers, a CD or a DVD, but my family is away for the week-end so I won't be able to give her anything till Sunday. Screw it, I'll make up for it come Christmas. :)
(Thanks also to Bolty and the rest of the moderator-staff for defending our right to fend off these people. Trolls, that is... ;) )

You're not entirely wrong. In the UK, Mother's Day is always on a Sunday.
And also in March.

Happy Mother's Day Mrs. DeeBye!
Also, there's a rumour going around that ShadowHM is 50 years old. I cannot reveal my sources.

Indeed, and t'was a fine one. :D And the sons, bless their little hearts, gave me the best thing they could think of as a gift. A Buck Knife.

Gosh, I wish my mother was so practical. I had to shop for a while trying to pick out just the right bracelet and necklace to give to her. It would be nice if I could shop for myself at the same time as I shop for her(as in buying knives).

Hmmm,
not bad... but I'd settle for anything by Gil Hibben... or the T2-Dagger, which can't be (alas!) legally aquired here now.
Hope you had a fine Mother's Day, same goes for all the Moms out there! I sadly could only express my gratitude by sending an SMS, as my matron mother is in Thailand at the moment.
Take care,

Aside from the usual gifts, my mother had an evil idea for mother's day, although I myself thought it was a great idea...at first. The rest (not mom) of the family walked down the train tracks to the river (more like a creek where we went) and picked out flat rocks for her garden. She wanted them as stepping stones.
Anyways, the creek is in a big, V shaped area with very steep sides. Lots of trees and foliage everywhere. Very pretty place. Down the hill is a spot where you can cross a log to get to a big sort of island of rocks in the middle. We picked out our rocks, took some pictures, had a nice time. Then it was time to carry them back <_<
Here comes the funny (for you) part.
Fortunately, we had 'thought ahead' and brought backpacks. Backpacks work well with schoolbooks & camping gear etc. but when you put three BIG flat rocks in... So, we had to cross the log carrying backpacks that shifted their weight from side to side (Dad fell in), climb up (literally climb) the hill/cliff, then begin the long hike home along the tracks. Flat rocks surprisingly, don't lie flat in the backpacks. They dig in . My dad said he had spasms in his shoulders for the rest of the weekend.
They were big rocks!
An end to my raving,
Belated Happy Mother's day!

Hmmm, I am starting to wonder if all the women in Canada are really that dangerous ;)
Its scary to think about.
Just Kidding. I dont want to wake up with a buck knife in me
Edit: Shadow, until recently(before this thread) all the time I was in LL I never knew that you were a woman. I just thought you were a very wise man like Occhi  Please forgive me for thinking this.

The last one is a line in the show. It is a very funny line. You have to watch the episode to understand the phrase.
