In actuality, my anecdote was, in this other forum where it originated, an illustration of how ludicrous an act it is to use a part of your own body for a weapons' test. Like a yokel saying, "Is this sharp?" right before running their finger along the edge of a sword blade and learning that answer for themselves.

It's not so much the bodily damage I'm worried about. Blood is simply murder to a steel edge if left on it for a while. <_<

Just what is it about grotesque creatures and smoking that makes them so damned funny? ;)

A couple months ago, when I was playing D2X on the Realms, I ran into Uber Diablo and that mega-rare-unique charm dropped. Turns out that was a transmitter that sent this weird alien guy to my house, claiming he was recruiting for the Diablo League or something. Can you believe he actually took me to Khanduras? But some evil force blew up half the planet and killed the alien guy and I managed to escape with Ormus and we teleported around the planet looking for Diablo and killed him and Death Blossom and alien dude wasn't dead and I came back home to scoop up Kasreyn and we're about to return to the stars and chase down Diablo's evil minions to infinity and beyond!

...and the dog ate my homework.

A long time ago, me and my brother Kyle here were hitch-hiking down a long and lonesome road. All of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon in the middle of the road.

And he said, "Play me the best song in the world, or I'll eat your souls!"

Well, me and Kyle looked at each other, and we each said, "Okay."

And we played the first thing that came to our heads, just so happened to be the best song in the world. It was the best song in the world!

Look into my eyes and it's easy to see that one and one makes two and two and one makes three. It was destiny. Once every hundred thousand years or so, when the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow and the grass doth grow.

Needless to say, the beast was stunned. A whip-crack of its wicked tail, and the beast was done.

He asked us, "Be you angels?"

And we said "Nay! We are but men!"

Rock on!

Actually Blizzard, like most small software companies, easily produces bug-free software on-schedule.

However virtually all small software makers then add, pre-release, a hefty number of bugs for various reasons, the predominent one being that by so following "the Microsoft Way" they make their companies more attractive as takeover targets for Bill Gates.

Unfortunately Blizzard wasn't successful with their use of this tactic, and instead was acquired by some messed up French company... btw, the French *have* won some wars... mostly against the Brits--but how hard can that be, eh? as even America has been successful fighting them!

;)

p.s. the wink is so you don't bother to flame me for any failure I've made to outrageously insult everyone equally :D

We Naga are set to carry out our final plans for the takeover of the Great Lakes, but there are still a few kinks in our postwar strategy. Specifically, we're having trouble finding a company to supply a water heater capable of bringing Lake Superior up to an average temperature of 90 degrees in under four weeks.

While you're at it could you raise up the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? ;)

Shouldn't you really be conquering New Mexico with your Blood Elf friends, being from Outland and all.

No, dammit. We still hold some things sacred.

And we don't really want New Mexico. We'd rather have Utah or Colorado. Or I should say they (the Blood Elves) do; there's not much there for us.

Yea, I was joking about how there's no water on Outland, but Illidan got the Naga to conquer it. Of course, if warcraft species came into the world the Blood Elves would be near Tauren, Orcs, Kodos, Dranei, etc. I guess they'd take the drier parts while the tauren and Orcs would take the great plains.
