Wry observation that "Preview is your friend."

Post edited by poster, which shows that this poster also forgot to use "Preview."

*Admonishes DeeBye for saving image in wrong format.* You save approximately (46.34264-i)/sqrt(x)% in your file size, where x is derived from the real number value produced by inversly comparing the .gif file size to the .jpg filesize (measured in kilobytes and kibibytes, respectively) and putting that ratio (expessed as a fraction) into the Riemann Zeta Function, by saving in the non-lossy .png rather than the lossy .jpg.

Approximately.

There are a few rare exceptions, those are when the link is something so surprisingly humorous that the enjoyment of said link would be lessened if the reader has been already warmed about its content. That's rare though.

P.S: This is the generic reply of the lurker who comes out of nowhere, stabs at a secondary unimportant issue and disappears again in the darkness, never to be seen again in the thread.

<Whines about necro posting and pointing to the forum rules while being frustrated, not really having read them, but assuming something is said about these kind of posts.>

<Poor attempt at covering self's butt by typing a sentence to stay on topic in addition to mere whining, to ensure others see you as a good guy.>

Redundant comment with insight already offered earlier in the thread. No sign of having read any posts besides the the OP.

Reads and rereads entire thread ..... notices an unusual lack of fish thwacking and no cries of "Ni !" . Topic has far less than the minimum required Monty Python / Douglas Adams references

Instead of adding lacking material , poster wanders far off topic in search of a shrubbery .....

Makes pointless commentary on Marvin the Paranoid Android and God disapearing in a puff of logic when confronted about the Babel Fish,

Adds personal aside that Marvin was probably the most comical character ever created by a writer, ever.

Have you driven a Ford lately?
All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.

"Isn't this where...."

Posts entire content of the "Shrubbery" scene from Monty Python using badly formatted text to indicate it was lifted from an e-mail that had circulated from approximately 1,906 forwardings.

Mandatory edit to fix "speling".

Second edit to apologize for perceived grammar errors.

Feeling vindicated, the member who had his post edited out by mod resubmits the entire post.

Member rejoins forum under a new handle expecting to find other members rushing to his aid. Member becomes angry upon logging in and seeing 7 posts by various members saying the admin did the right thing and that we don't need members like that sullying our pristine forum. Member then posts an inflamatory statement about the elitist good old boy network present in the forum and how he now sides with all the previously banned members. Name calling, ranting, and raving follow.
