Well, if we look at the dictionary <quotes this entire page http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=run> we can see that the word 'run' has many different meanings, and since meaning B does not make sense in this context, your argument is clearly flawed, despite other meanings making sense. <Quotes Nietzche>
