Onyxia keys and you.
#1
So rumor has it there might be some Onyxia runs coming up that require a strong Lurker presence, as in it might be sponsored by you guys, CA or a partner guild.

There's probably a thread somewhere that states where everyone is on their Onyxia key line, but I can't find it. It may in fact be buried in another thread, but I think this warrants its own mention. Thus, please reply? I'd like to help CA and Lurkers all get their Onyxia keys, and knowing where people stand would be immensely helpful. Leaving people out on something as big and fun as Onyxia would be a shame, especially if it's just a matter of running jailbreak a few times.

Also, if you could include times you're USUALLY around to run stuff, I can start getting a few things organized and toss some party proposals at you.

Let's get keyed, kids.

Grizelle

*** Edit: If you have your key already, please also state that. I'm not sure on some folks, though I'm pretty sure Flyndar has his, and I know Rylea and Arethor have theirs. Thanks.

I have my Onyxia Pendant and am available to tank the escort in BRD. :)

Have my Blood from the General, been to lazy to turn it in.

***Edit:
P.S. Kapowee is in the same boat.
I can help run BRD/UBRS to get peeps equiped, but have had horribly limited play time lately. PST me in game if you want help, and mention your a Lurker affiliate. I get a lot of random invites, and generally my answer is no.

I *think* this is the order . . .

1) Do Dragonkin Menace quest in the Burning Steppes: http://www.thottbot.com/?q=1237

2) This will start off a chain of 'talk to this person, talk to that person' that will have you going between SW and Lakeshire. Eventually it will lead back to the Dragonkin Menace quest giver in the Burning Steppes. He will tell you to travel into Blackrock Depths and find a captured man in jail (Windsor).

3) When you find Windsor, he gives you a collection quest (Abandoned Hope). After you turn that in, you will NOT get another quest, but don't panic. Instead you return to BRD. Any mob in the instance will now drop a crumpled up note, which starts the next leg of the chain.

4) More running back and forth and then you get Jail Break! - the escort quest. Be sure to clear the mobs around the prison and the ring of law before starting it. Even then, its quite difficult, but have no fear, we're professionals around here ™.

6) Go back to Stormwind Keep for The Great Masquerade, watch the chaos ensue around the king (don't interfere unless you have a raid group - stay out of aggro radius. The npc can solo it on his own without your help).

7) You then go to Winterspring. Get the quest to kill the general in upper Blackrock Spire and collect his blood. Multiple blood now drops, which is a beautiful thing.

8) After you collect the blood, return to Winterspring to get the Drakefire Amulet, which is your key into Onyxia's Lair.

Thus:

Dragonkin Menace -> The True Masters (part 1, Redridge) -> The True Masters (part 2, SW) -> The True Masters (part 3, back to Redridge) -> The True Masters (part 4, back to Morgan's Vigil in Burning Steppes) -> talk to Ragged John -> talk to Marshal Maxwell -> Marshall Windsor -> Abandoned Hope. Next step begins when you find a Crumpled Note off random drop in BRD. Take it back to Marshall Windsor and get A Shred of Hope -> Jail Break -> Stormwind Rendevous -> The Great Masquerade, and you then get the key to Onyxia's Lair!

Sabra and I are at probably the best known quest (Alliance side) in the game...Stormwind's Masquerade. I'd LOVE to get this out of the way...

You know you can effectively solo that, right? ;)

However, it's a lot of fun to get together with your friends and march through the streets, and I never get tired of taking that walk, so if I'm around, I'll be glad to tag along with you.

Lochnar is in need of blood. Will he ever get it? That is yet to be determined. UBRS is a very daunting thing to consider.

As stated, Arethor is keyed and ready to help others do the same. Direct tells are a lot more effective than guild chat for me. I've been in a little bit of a daze recently and the green text just slides by. A sudden purple message sends a shock to the senses.

Sabra and I moved up through the Masquerade quest step. Very, very shortly, we'll need blood. Looks like we'll be pulling Loch and Arethor along, too. Then we'd need a tanky healer. Tal, maybe.

Actually first I need to get you and Sabra through the elite dragon cave in Winterspring. THEN we can get you blooooood. And we'll need to have a raid and warrior for the General . Shar is no tanky enough to get down with the general. I can, however, tank the general's guards. :)

For those needing blood . . .

CA runs raids EVERY Thursday, and the choice target lately has been UBRS. We never actually fill up the whole 15 man raid. We come close some weeks, but not all the way.

If you are at the blood portion of things, reply here or message Darian/Griz in game (Thursdays you're bound to catch me). We'll be more than happy to try and fill in our last open slots with Lurkers (and I talk about last open slots like there's only two or three, when in all actuality it's more like 5 +).

It's the best night to get a guaranteed group.

It's not the only time it's run, Cat. it's just one of the better bets. I'm sure something could be put together. Unfortunately, when you're available I'm generally not - weekends are tough, so maybe Tal or Darian can step up to the plate here and put something together for you.

We did it last night with Sharanna and Loch and some very nice pick up people, one of whom was sweetly impressed that we were from Lurker Lounge and referred to us as "elite." ;)

So it's off to Wintersprings for Mirajj and me. Tal has said he will help us get it done quickly.

Lovin' it!

And we have Loch too, so we might be able to get this done, presuming we can stop laughing!

I wonder if we could lure Darian in to tank the general. Darian is quite the man for that work. **sniff** misses Gnolack And if Ari will come...this could be one wry quest.
