I dueled a level 60 undead rogue two days ago. I'm still 53. I challenged him, lay down for a nice nap, and waited for the end. He would run up, stab me a few times, and let me get back to my nap. The finishing blow never came! Eventually I got tired of these constant interruptions, so I stood up, health at 3%, cast one tick of hellfire, and settled down for a long dirt nap. :)

Zara still wins.

Ps. I do wish Life Tap could kill you.
