First off, I am surprised nobody made a thread about this considering how much it friggin' rocked. By now it's been about two weeks, so the news is stale. But in short: retired basketball player Tim Hardaway said some stupid things about gay people. George Takei responded with 200 proof awesome.
Next up, there's scottish comedian Mark Day's The "Smiley" Intervention, because we all know folks who need learn how to write without pictograms. He's got lots more material, but this was my first exposure to him and it remains my favorite.
Moving on to realms involving adult language, this religious call-in video caused the heathenous recesses of my mind to erupt in glee. The user who uploaded this video has scads of other clips, but this possessed the most comedic value. The others stand as warnings against fundamentalist forms of religion. Where else but these clips would I have learned that evolution advocates rape?
But for the ultimate funny, I submit this re-cut, re-scored snuff film.

As for fun Youtube-videos. I recommend Animusic.

It's one of the most extraordinary animations I've ever seen. The people behind these clips have animated the way music is produced in instruments. Every beat, every note, and every musical notation is played *exactly* like it would be played in real life. It's unbelievable to watch. I'm considering buying the DVDs. Would be great to have something like that run on the tv in the background of a party.
Totally awesome!

Legend has it that George Takei is gay out of protest. The minute Ann Coulter does herself in, he'll go back in the closet... and take Tim Hardaway with him.
On the topic of CGI, the Kiwi video is wonderful.

Thank you! Very good stuff. I've added both DVDs to my Amazon wish list (and, when I'm rich, I might actually go buy all the stuff on my lists;)).

I suggest watching every single video in the series - it is amazing. Cliff notes: every episode he runs on a treadmill, while painting something, while doing something else (blending a drink, interviewing a model, etc.), while taking phone calls.

It is so. This has been known for years to Howard Stern listeners, btw.

I don't know if "catchy" is the word I would use to describe that... probably just "weird".

Here's some I especially like:
Worst Burglar Ever
Live! Turtle Rape
Indian Thriller
Tony vs. Paul
Leonard Nimoy's Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
These probably aren't for watching while at work, or if dirty language offends you:
Girls Are Not To Be Trusted
National Spelling Bee
This one is absolutely not work safe, and contains a ridiculous amount of over-the-top blood and gore:
Bagman
If you can watch it, though, it's well worth it for the comedy factor.

In a contrast to the last video, here's the Free Hugs Campaign, which I just saw a few days ago. A touching video. :)
Also, an extremely trippy french music video called Qui de nous deux. Catchy song though.

Am I missing something or did he break in, take a couple packs of cigs and then attempt to leave? That guy *really* wanted a pack apparently.
