Running Ragefire Chasm as Alliance? (classic)

Hi all,

Back in the day, we sneaked into Stormwind and ran Stockades as Horde, level appropriate. It was a good time. Now that I've been dragged back to Alliance for classic, I'm thinking of trying to do Ragefire Chasm at a mostly level appropriate time.

I'm reading that they closed RFC to alliance players at some point -- but in classic I know it used to be doable.

Does anyone know if this is still possible? It's a lot of running and dying to even find out.

Maybe I should do some scouting with a toon on the horde side. There is that back door to Org which might be the best way in for a mount-less character.

I should be pretty good at stealthing in a few levels - I'd be willing to check it out and provide an update. Thought frankly, a level 20 druid is probably outside the range of the dungeon.
