Manaburn effect not working on bosses.

I thought that I noticed no effect from manaburn bosses previously, but I just had it confirmed.

A dark ranger boss in the bottom of the cave in the cold plains had manaburn. I saw the 'life steal' swirly on her each time she shot me, but i lost no mana, and she gained no health.

I am almost certain, but I cannot 100% verify, that the same holds true for meleeing bosses and spell casting bosses with manaburn, both of which previously drained mana.

Help confirming, please?

I have been mana burned by melee attacks, but I don't think a ranged attack has ever taken mana. I will pay more attention the next time I see a mana burn boss.

The boss pack feature of having the bosses features also on his little friends can get most annoying, though Mana burn is nowhere near as nuisance generating as Cold Enchanted.
