Paradox: 12% ed / level?!?

So I was just thumbing through MagicPrefix.txt upon hearing about ed on armor (Jewelers is still magic only, thank God, though mechanics can spawn w/ 2 slots now).

Then I came upon this little gem: Paradox, req lvl 18, 12% ed per level. Outpaces Cruel at level 25.


Fortunately enough, spawnable was 1, and this had been there since 1.09 (though I had never noticed it before)

When I noticed this:

Gritty:
Spawnable 1
Rare 1
Level 50 (req level 37)
Frequency 7
group 105 (basic ed group)
Dmg/lvl: 6


Dmg/lvl 6... meaning at level 80, this weapon will have +480 damage? 1 handed?

Say it with me now... BUWHAAAAAAA???

That is to say, spawnable was 0. For paradox, that is.

Values for all clvl-based modifiers are given in 8ths. So that's really just 3/4s of a damage. Gritty (translated to Grinding in the game) is the same as the Screaming prefix in 1.09. There was also a different Screaming prefix with hit causes monster to flee, so now the ambiguity is gone.

Paradox would also be just 1.5% per clvl, or 148% at level 99. Nice, yes, but not as good as cruel.
