Character File Corrupted

I was playing 1.10 over IP with a freind, and I had just left a game to create a new one when my computer hard-locked. I was forced to reboot, when it rebooted and I tried to join with that character it said that it was a bad file and would not let me join. Is there a way to fix this?

Or.. if anyone could give me the file that is bad, that would be great.

Hmm, still not getting a reply. Could someone tell me if the item file is kept seperate from the character file and if it would be possible to make a new character, and just copy the old item file to the new character?

no the items and the character are the same file and there is no way i think to seperate them.

But you might try to revert them all back to 1.09 and then re install the patch for 1.10.
That might or might not solve your problem.
