Life drain vs Diablo, can anyone confirm?

This tidbit here sounded interesting to me. From the ABasin:

http://www.theamazonbasin.com/d2/forums/in...ST&f=42&t=29974

Specifically, "Made Diablo life drainable at Normal (100% efficiency) and Nightmare (50% efficiency) difficulties. Diablo cannot be life drained at Hell difficulty."

I don't have any characters that can test this in Hell unfortunately. But my question is, this means Hell mode Diablo is immune to "Open Wounds" effect, yes? Or am I misreading this and they meant life leech instead of life drain effect?

So, yes, it's about life leech. The leech penalty has no impact on Open Wounds, I'm fairly sure. My merc made NM Meph bleed plenty of times and he cannot be leeched from, either. :)

Edit: the relevant columns in monstats.txt are named "Drain" (and "Drain(N)"/"Drain(H)" for NM and Hell), so I guess that's where they got the "drain" from.

I guess I was just a bit unclear with the wording. Thanks for clearing that up.
