I believe when you say things like this:
"IMO, if you liked Diablo 1 or 2 but haven't tried this game out yet, there is a good chance you will really take a liking to it!"
then you really are making a comparison between the two games and the enjoyment you will derive from playing them.
After all, for what reason would you enjoy playing the two games that you make reference to? Because . . . the games are similar or play similarly? Otherwise, why compare them at all?
BTW, if you like Sacred, you should also check out Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, two other well-made Diablo2 clones. DD is in the remaindered bins for like $10. BDD is just out and probably pretty $$ still. The graphics aren't _quite_ up to Sacred's standard, but they are close.
