I just sent this off in response to them vetoing my sons character name, RaneOTerror.

Rane is my son's name and he chose the character name.  You have made him very unhappy in taking this away from him.  In viewing many of the other names on this server I think your actions are arbitrary and unfair, considering a scan of high level characters including "Twit", and "TheElder".  I understand why it violates your RP naming standard, but only slightly.  If RaneTheTerrible would have fit in your limited character name space it would have been more appropriate.  Many medival names were literally "Gunter of York", or "Eric the Red".  Consider also that many of the "Blizzard" NPC character names violate your own naming rules, e.g. Captain Placeholder, Hank The Hammer.  Or, Blizzard assigned names which I find marginally inappropriate, such as a Void Walker we have named "Kraktaz" which I feel borders on the profane.

Here are my alternative names for his Tauren character which seem in character.

RaneGiver
RaneCaller
RaneDancer
RaneStalker

Thank you for your consideration.  I am hoping we can come to an amiable resolution as my children enjoy your game very much, but these kinds of misunderstandings do little to build good customer relationships, earn my loyalty, or induce me to continue to financially support your endeavor.
