Basically it comes down to this: If you're in Europe, console makers don't really belive you exist.

Last numbers for game sales I saw for Europe was something like 50% PC and 50% console (ie. all consoles combined). However that was about a year ago and I expect that consoles have gained some ground since then, still it's nowhere as large a market share as in either US or Japan. For bottomline purposes Europe isn't important in the console buisiness.
