A dipstick I saw on CSPAN, when they voted the Health Care plan out of committee, was named Dodd. (The leading political lying piece of offal at the microphone). Following him was a pit bull bitch who foamed (some "ski" Senator from somewhere) at the mouth over how the Republicans were all evil for not voting her way in committee,

Dodd spent seven or eight separate phrases evoking the name of oh the most Holy of fat and drunken Senators, Ted Freaking Kennedy, as the father and inspiration, of said bill. He could not verbally fellate Teddy-the-Drunken-and-Not-JFK-the-sainted-one-Senator enough.

Well, had that been said, then I would have understood the context. :) I remember back when only some politicians were known criminals, not the majority of them.
