What is a 3@30?

What is this thing i hear about "Murphys Law" and I have read some storys over at tibbs sight and people are like "Murphy has fooled me again" or w/e. Lol, what is this Murphy?

A 3@30 means that a character killed Diablo on Hell difficulty at character level 30. Usually this term indicates that the feat was done solo. A "coop 3@30" would mean that a group of characters who are all level 30 worked their way down to Diablo and killed him together.


Murphy's Laws are a set of pessimistic proverbs. The simplest form is "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." This applies to all walks of life, but in Diablo so many things are random that it seems to come up a lot.
