For my style of play, I'd say the uninterruptibility of Zeal is an advantage. I don't try to do stand-up fights. Instead, I use Teleport to draw out and isolate individuals. I also hide behind my merc a lot. :)
I agree that the HotW charges are almost useless. Its limited self-preservation instincts are continually being overridden by Teleports, leading to a very short, expensive lifespan.
Unfortunately, I've never seen a Djinn Slayer. It sounds nice. I'm SP, so no trading for me. I do have an AzureWrath on a mule somewhere ... from CD2. :(
