Assassin martial arts speeds

Greetings Lurkers--

I was wondering what determines the Assassin's martial arts swing speeds? Are they based off of the weapon speed, or does it have something to do with cast rate.

Also, how does Burst of Speed impact it??

Quick answer: Based on weapon speed, not casting. BoS affects them A LOT. Longer answer here. It's specifically for dual-claw, but it's a good primer for figuring out Assassin attack speeds generally.
