Rand played DAOC with us for a while, but I haven't had any contact with him in a year or better probably. I heard he finally got a girlfriend and joined the military.


As for Socko, I have no clue, been years since I've talked to him. :blink:


I was kinda hoping with the new ladder reset, some of the old folks might give D2 a try again, at least for a few weeks. Haven't seen anyone when I've been on though.

I believe the last time I saw Rand was at a DSF meeting (before the DSF meeting channel ended up as a more permanent channel). Some of us (including Rand) ended up playing a game of D2 with new characters. I recall it was on a Sunday.

Socko I still see on Battle.net, and I often see him on MSN Messenger. The last time he messaged me, he was saying something about WoW.

I was still playing D2 up until about 5 weeks ago, when Gracie, my girlfriend, bought me FFXI. The game is so intricate and complex compared to D2 that it made me wonder why I didn't get into MMO's when EQ first came out.

Cligger (Remember him?) came to New Zealand and we met up, he's pretty cool. He's a lot different to what I remembered online, mainly because when he was 13-14 and playing Diablo 1/Diablo 2 he hadn't come out yet. Yes, that's right, he's gay. Big deal. :P

It's funny, Cuth, just the other day at work I got a call from someone whose last name was Rhea, and I remembered some weirdo I used to socialise with online... namely, you. And then I get home today and Scrape has MSN'd me saying that someone's here mentioning my name. :o

Cligger. I remember him from Sorc Tower. Last time I saw him was here. Sorc Tower. Wow. For me, that's six years ago this fall/winter. I wonder whatever happened to folks. Bugs the hell out of me I never found out why happened to DaPup; he just disappeared one day. But such is Battle.net.

I'm *still* playing Dark Age of Camelot (the one Rand dragged PO, Vec, Taf, Shank, and I don't remember who else off to play). Shank and Vec are still playing it too. PO I see once a month maybe, Taf I haven't seen for over a year. Kat has been casually playing a new sorceress in D2 over the last couple weeks, I think she's up to 25 or so now.

I don't use ICQ or MSN anymore really, but I might install one and make an exception. I use AIM occasionally, name's KendenHV on it. We should try to round as many of the old Posties up as we can and play together in WoW.

I saw PO this 2004 year in the new Post. I believe Shooter was in at least once, but never when I was available to type.

The last few times I was in the Post, the last time being about a month ago, I usually saw the bots of IR, Lo, and Mew.

Every now and then they would actually converse. I would see IR occasionally playing D2.

I recall []WILDFIRE[] and Sassi~`s old forum. This seems to be a newer one.

I remember pakrat had a similar forum.

Yeah, I'd say he was because he's about the same age as me and I started visiting Sorc's Tower at 13.

It's nice hearing some of these old names again; it's just too bad there's some that we'll probably never hear from again.

Yeah, he's gay. Not the flaming type though that gets all loud and puts on a voice. You wouldn't pick it immediately if you met him.
