weapons speed

Hello,

A barbarian holds 2 weapons which don't have the same speed;one is slow and the other one is very fast;how does the speed of whirlwind and frenzy work when a barb holds these weapons? does the speed depend on the fast or the slow one? or do different speed alternate with slow and fast attacks?

With whirlwind, the weapons work more or less independently. If one weapon has X hits per second and the other Y hits per second, you'll have a total of (X+Y) hits per second, assuming there are always enough targets.

I know with frenzy I get a visibly different attack speed using two items with different speeds. It's interesting though, because I only get the visible difference after I hit with frenzy, which means that the IAS bonus with frenzy kicks one weapon over a frame breakpoint, but not the other.
