and for the record, they are FAST. I went from Stormwind to Booty bay and it was more a pleasure stroll than a half-hour grind.

A few nights ago I went to take a griffen ride from Darkshire, but something went horribly amiss. I was instantly teleported way to the far side of town, and when I went to run, I ran at an incredibly high rate of speed. I made it far down the road before the client crashed.

I think the Wind Rider in Thunder Bluff is bugged similarly. I paid for the ride to The Crossroads after finishing up some business in TB, but I was promptly dumped off on The Golden Plains (and in the middle of a bunch of Prairie Wolf Alphas, no less!), with my money gone. I promptly killed the Alphas and instead used my Hearthstone (which was bound to XR), though I was none too pleased. Orgrimmar-to-TB and XR-to-TB work fine, however.
