Let's have another member title contest
#1
Ever since I was a youngster growing up in my boyhood war-ravaged hamlet, I've always yearned for a custom member title here at the Lurker Lounge. I fondly recall asking my crippled mother, "Mommy, why won't Bolty give me a title? I've been ever so good, and I limp to the shrine I built for him out of old tin cans and cigarette lighters three times a day in the hopes that he might offer me one."

My mother never replied. I don't know if that was because she had no answer or because she had her tongue cut out by pirates. I would have asked my father, but I never met him. Space aliens with lasers and pointy sticks forced him into their mothership before I was born. I hear he was a swell guy.

Deebye... I AM YOUR FATHER!

"Life is sacred and you are not its steward. You have stewardship over it but you don't own it. You're making a choice to go through this, it's not just happening to you. You're inviting it, and in some ways delighting in it. It's not accidental or coincidental. You're choosing it. You have to realize you've made choices."

Do you have anything particular in mind as far as contests go?
Why can't we all just get along

That would be topical and allow a wide spectrum of entries. Length to be limited, or force it to be in sonnet form! (OK, not fair!)

What say?
Cry 'Havoc' and let slip the Men 'O War!

I'm sure that if something warranted a contest, the prize would be a title. Unfortunately, nothing really warrants a contest around here these days, unless finding your father is considered to. In that case, gekko wins!
"Yay! We did it!"
"Who are you?"
"Um, uh... just ... a guy." *flee*

I'll take, "Watch my gyrating banana and despair" for 500, Alex.

I think the banana has you beat, even if its purely for the fact that he has dancing seniority. That banana has been dancing for years!

Doesn't yours have a name?
But whate'er I be,
Nor I, nor any man that is,
With nothing shall be pleased till he be eased
With being nothing.

For a moment I thought I was reading Something Awful.
The gods made heavy metal and they saw that is was good
They said to play it louder than Hell
We promised that we would
When losers say it's over with you know that it's a lie
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die

Teleporting North
Raven haired wench makes sparks
Catapult grounds her

Barbarian sings
Bellows an anguished War Cry
Supporter too tight
Cry 'Havoc' and let slip the Men 'O War!
