Looks like Flyndar, Catlyn and myself are able to tackle the elusive and suicidal Marshall Windsor (he tried soloing all the mobs by his naked self on Sunday) and try to escort him to safety in Blackrock Deeps. Is there any others on Stormrage able to make it between 7 PM or 8PM EST server time tomorrow? This quest is starting to frustrate me beyond belief but as i have learned through life, patience is a virtue (or is it??).

7 or 8 is a bit too early for me to be on for such an event. If it can be done a bit later I can assist with my puny level 49 paladin.

I will be there. I'd also like to point out that we still haven't rescued the suicidal maniac from Blackrock Depths and as such we are still trying to do that. Until we can save him from there we will not be running the Stormwind Raid event (which we can probably invite anyone and everyone who wants to join in). So for anyone who wants to see a Lurker raid on Onyxia's bodyguards in Stormwind you have to root for us saving this Windsor fellow from BRD first :)

I'm not on a server with you guys or I'd offer to help. The most I can do is offer some advice.
Clear the large open areas just inside the instance entrance, the entire jail circle and the circle around the ring of law before you start the quest. If you're cautious (I'm the belt and suspenders sort myself) clear both ends of the guard tunnel in the jail just in case. Make sure you clear all the jail cells. The mobs that spawn in them are enough trouble without the ones already there.
Take the aggro before Windsor does. Be ready for the spawning mobs and rush them. Charge the cells before he has a chance to wade in and get himself killed. Do your level best to pull aggro off him when he gets it. And for heaven's sake don't fail the quest because you sat down to drink and let him get too far ahead of you.
Once he gets his armor you can breathe a little easier.

Hmm, this reply is also related to Loch's post in the other thread so read that if this seems confusing:
My latest idea I came up with about 2 days ago matches almost exactly what Loch said, let our mage(s) and Warlock go aoe crazy when Windsor grabs aggro in order to steal it back from him. Being the healer I can do a lot more for my party members than I can for Mr. Suicide. Each time we have cleared out the entire area (Nini and I learned that lesson with a pickup group a few weeks back). Your suggestion to be more aggressive is well taken but a bit harder to pull off when you haven't completed the whole thing yet (and know for certain what you are facing). Our lack of a warrior lessens our ability to get multiple targets off of Windsor without aoe which is why I think that is our best strategy.
Your comment about the armor is most interesting. I hadn't even figured about the fact that he is collecting his gear. This might explain why he was so fragile last time and died while noone else in our party was threatened. Hopefully we can get some armor for him so he can actually take some hits if need be :)

p.s. Last time we tried fearing as many mobs off of him as we could. It seemed we couldn't save him from his suicide this way though so hopefully doing chunks of aoe damage will do a better job of getting the mobs' attention.

My recommendation on this quest is to clear the entire prison level first and then start the escort. Windsor takes both loops of the prison level before heading to the door, and he'll fight *everything*.
