My first meeting with Onyxia

Hello:

As some of you know, i play on the Stormrage server and left the Lurkers about 3 weeks ago to join a high end raiding guild. My purpose was one: to see all the end game content. Well it looks my purpose has been fulfilled. No way did i think it would happen this fast but such is the extent/depth of the WoW end game. Here are some of my random pictures of my very first encounter with Onxyia today.

At last, my 6 month dream is fulfilled and i have participated in an epic battle and the great beast Onyxia is dead:) Yay!!!

I was so happy because i actually survived the whole battle with Onyxia!

You know, i was thinking the same thing, lol. Mongojerry's tale was epic and compelling and lots of hard work. My tale is as simple as it comes. I think the point is, Onyxia is now available to pretty well anyone be it a pick up group or a well oiled machine. Literally i could have stood the whole battle doing nothing and we would have still won:) So maybe, just maybe the Lurkers will one day be able to unite and take on the mighty Onyxia. It literally is only a 20 minute battle.

It takes a lot of time to get it to be a 20 minute battle. I'm guessing that the group you went with had killed her many times before. Once you kill her once, you can kill her again and again. It's the training of a whole raid of people for the event that takes the time (and of course, makes the final death all the more exciting and worth it).
