Oh, God! Oh, God! I can't stop laughing. While raiding Molten Core today, people kept yelling out "LEEEEEEEEEEEROYYYYYYYYY JENNNNNNNKINSSSSS" but I had no idea what the heck they were talking about. I finally found out. You have got to see this video.

I nearly peed my pants laughing at home. Who HASN'T wanted to do something like this? Every time someone screws up now, they're going to be Leeroy in my book.

Go, man, go. He stayed alive a LONG damn time.

Yes Leeroy has become quite a pheonomenon. :) Our warrior now has a "LEEEROY!!!" macro and I'ms ure he's not the only one.

Staged, but staged perfectly. :)

"We've had trouble with these eggs before. Can we just skip them?"
"I think Leeroy needs the shoulders."
"Devout shoulders? Isn't he a paladin?"
"More mana. Better for healing and stuff."
"Christ"

"Oh my god. He ran in."

"Leeroy you are so stupid."
"At least I have chicken."

Whoops! Wierd. I looked for another thread on this before I posted. I'd lock this thread, except that people have replied to this thread and not the other one. Oh, well.

The video still busts me up laughing. It gets better every time.

And so are the good tv shows and movies. ;) Take staged videos as they are - forms of entertainment. :)

I especially liked the "We'll DI the mages so they can AoE", from a high level pally no less. (I think). That just tickled me too.

Holy crap, it's the Pals For Life! I even play horde on that server and I still know half the people in that video. The 'camera man' once beat me to death with a fishing pole. Oh, man, those guys are awesome. Even to their enemies, generally.

They still raid and pvp and all that, but they're generally running around in nothing but tabards and Admiral Hats, or doing mounted parades through Crossroads, or figthing with fishing poles, or various other hilarious and awesome gimmicks.

...

Now that I don't actively play on that server I think I might just delete my puny horde characters there and start up a gnome or something just so I can congratulate them on both beating me down in style and not beating me down at random.

Well, if the guy talking is the one who's PoV we have, he's a warrior.

Maybe so, but the guy talking is not the guy who's POV we have, which is what you assumed:

There are so many small things that are easy to miss the first time, but you pick up in repeated viewings (and with hints from other people).

Like the camera man turning on "Find Herbs" in Blackrock Spire.

And when you first hear the battle plan it seems perfectly plausible. That's the beauty of it.

And when they first posted the video, they totally deadpanned it, posting it as if they were really asking for help with the rookery. Just looking at the responses on the first couple pages of that thread are hilarious. The first page is all posts from people who didn't bother to watch the video. Some people just called them noobs for not being able to get past the Rookery, while others tried to give serious helpful hints. By the second page, you start getting responses from people who actually saw the video mixed with people who hadn't, and by the third page, the gig is up and people realize how badly the first posters got suckered in. Just well done.

Yeah, sorry, Lissa. As I said above, I didn't see your thread, and I would close this thread for redundancy, but this is the thread that people are responding to. I messed up, but least I have chicken.

That is not my point at all. You said "if the guy talking is the guy who's POV we have" and I clarified that it wasn't. That's it. No class discussion.

Phoenix, I think Rinnhart's second "He's a warrior" was in fact pointing to the right guy.
