There's hope without Finkle's

Last night Arleas and myself joined in a Pubbie raid in UBRS. After killing the beast, I asked if someone had Finkle's, they did, but someone piped up that you don't need Finkle's to skin the beast. Evidently, there is a belt out there somewhere (been looking through Thott and Alla to find it) that adds +5 to your skinning meaning it's possible to skin Gyth and the Beast without having Finkle's. Now I need to find the belt cause the person that mentioned it couldn't remember the name of the belt.

So far as I know, no such belt - and I just checked Thottbot for all blue belts.

+skinning would have to be on equip or on use type of deal, and those are the only 2 spells related to this (one is finkles, the other is glove enchant).

glove enchant and finkle's are the only +skinning items currently in game
