Quote:Blizzard expects up to 6,500 guests at BlizzCon, thanks in large part to the staggering worldwide success of "World of Warcraft". Over 3.5 million people pay $12.99-$14.99 per month to play the game. In addition to the opportunity to chat with the makers of the game and attend a concert, attendees will be the first to see what's next for Blizzard.

"We're going to be showing off a new product we haven't announced yet," said Wang. (And for those thinking it's the long-rumored unveiling of "Diablo 3" or "Starcraft 2," get ready for a letdown. Wang said the announcement will be linked to "World of Warcraft".)

I was cruising a torrent site one day when I noticed a file called "diablo3_trailer.avi"

I surmised that it was porn, but couldn't risk the off-chance that it was some unheard of leaked footage or some such. To my surprise, it was not porn after all, and in fact it was a Diablo 3 trailer... wannabe.

It seems that a vastly amateur 3d animator created a few landscapes* and plastered "Diablo 3 Trailer" and "High Detail Terrain" and "High Resolution Textures" all over the clip. Those of you who have played Terminal Velocity will get a good picture of the quality of work I am talking about here.

I think I still have it if anyone wants to take a look, though I do not recommend it. Nothing to see here, folks! :whistling:
