The picture on the top row of your link, far right, was filmed at the Patuxent River, MD, Test Range. An old friend of mine was on that shoot during the Operational Test and Eval stage of fielding the Penguin in the US Navy.

Following up in the same silly vein . . :blink:
Since a Corvette's body is made of fiberglass, its radar signature might be small enough to prevent it's being locked on as a target. The SUV or the 18 wheeler in the next lane would more likely meet a Penguin . . . except for the problem of ground clutter confusing an anti ship missile's guidance system, so maybe it's electronic brain would get stuck on stupid and hit the sailboat parked in front of the local SUV dealer's house. :blink:
Of course, with the Corvette's engine being a source of heat, maybe the IR sensor in some mods of the Penguin would home in on that. Then again, the semi's diesel engine likely makes it the target again . . . or that hottie floating on the air mattress in the pool in the back yard of the local SUV dealer's house . . . does his wife know about the hottie? Penguins might be the least of his troubles, come to think of it.
Short answer: the average Corvette is safe from a Penguin! :D Beware the Walrus!
