The Faire is coming! Good times! Resellers are snapping up Owewa's widgets at 3g and posting them for 5g!

Wonder if I can unload some plumes...

After equipping the Darkmoon Amulet, yay! and not seeing stats change very much, I realized that I was replacing

Will of the Martyr
+10 Stamina
equip: +30 attack power

which is an epic itm in a blue disguise.

For a warrior:

Will of the martyr:
+10 STA
+30 AP

Amulet of the Darkmoon:
+10 STA
+20 AP
+0.95% crit
+0.95% dodge
+38 Armor

So you're saying that 10 AP is almost equivalent to +0.95% crit and +0.95% dodge and +38 armor?

There are a great many items that I'd upgrade for similar gains.

Terenas WoW player... while we waited for Diablo III.
And it came... and it went... and I played Hearthstone longer than Diablo III.

Different characters will see different results.

Warrior: +20 attack power, +1% crit, +10 sta
Rogues: +29 attack power, +1% crit, +10 sta
Druids: +39 attack power (in cat), +1% crit, +10 sta
Hunters: +38 attack power, +0.5% crit, +10 sta

Well, that does make me feel better.

I will do a detailed comparison and report. I don't remember feeling that much ahead. I ran home at lunch time to do this, and was late getting back to work

I was interested to check Concillian's calculations, and find out if the stats in the CtProfile matched those in the game.

http://ctprofiles.net/78887

Spangles' "Farmer profile" stats wearing Amulet of the Darkmoon and Will of the Martyr, all else constant, all unbuffed, are shown as in-game/profile:

................Darkmoon...........Martyr
HP:...........4039/4039...........4039/4039
str:...........210/203..............200/193
agi:..........185/192...............166/173
sta:..........243/243...............243/243
AC:..........3415/3429...........3377/3391
AP:...........768/754..............778/764
%crit:.......26.25/23.60.........25.25/22.65
%hit:........+4......................+4
%DR:........38.30/38.40........38.0/38.1
%block......5/5.....................5/5
%dodge.....11.25/11.55........10.30/10.65
%parry.......13/13.................13/13

This pedantic list was assembled in an attempt to figure out why the profile overshoots agi while underestimating %crit. A simple equipment mismatch can't cause that.

Such an error could cause concurrent undershoots in str and AP, but the items equipped do match, as do the stats on the items, and the enchants <_<

Some of this could be caused by errors in talent point tabulation, but I just respecced using the profile as the template.

This is serious, because accurate changes in the most important stats aren't provided in the profile, just trends

(1) Your deltas are spot on

(2) If you sacrifice 3000 AC to maximize AP, you become very annoyed at anything that whittles it away.

PS. This profile is deliberately extreme, and very sensitive to changes such as the bug fix to Flurry in 1.10. Fight tactics developed over thousands of furbolg kills suddenly were causing unacceptably low HP levels after fights (i.e, dying too often).

I took out the two points in Improved Overpower and put one into Anger Management and one into Booming Voice, leaving 11 arms / 40 fury. The improvement was immediately apparent.

Anger Management wipes out the dead time at the start of consecutive fights begun without Bloodrage or bandaging. One point in Booming Voice increases Battle Shout duration from 2 min to 3 min! That's all it took to tip the balance back.

PPS. Vibrant plumes are selling for >1g
