Stop those nasty pop-up blockers!

I can't help but feel that my school somehow missed the point...

The campus has "TechTalks" every now and then where they explain... something... and I just recieved the flyer for the next one, featuring pop-up blockers. Part of the blurb consisted of this statement:

This month’s TechTalk will address those nasty pop-up blockers which prevent you from accessing systems you need via the Internet.  Come find out how to determine if pop-up blocker software was installed on your computer and how to temporarily and permanently disable it.

I don't know about you guys, but it's things like this that make me go "huh?!?"
