That is so classic. Here's the Ragnaros version that's just as funny:

The people raiding under this guys reign must be really, really desperate for their epics, that they put up with this. ;)

Amazingly, they jump up to defend him. I guess he has a reputation for being a good guy that just happens to shout a lot when people do really dumb things in raid. Having one utterly clueless scrub wipe the raid is probably not a phenomenon that you folks in Lurker raids have to put up with as much as the rest of us, but I can empathize with the guy. <_<

Anyhow, the guy's main character is Dives, and he plays on Chromaggus in Europe. There's a thread here that gives a bit more background.

Sometimes, I try and angle myself in such a position as to get punted as far back into the whelp pit as possible, just to keep our mages on their toes. If the mages aren't on point, well, you heard the audio clip.

Seriously though, the Onyxia encounter is really fun for me. I'm my guild's "group 1" shaman, so I'm always in the thick of the fight. In phases 1 and 3, I'm usually standing right beside Ony, not quite at her head, but around the area, as to give totems to the MT. In Phase 3, I keep strategically timed tremor totems down for the MT to keep him fear-free (for the most part). Every once in a while, tremor does absolutely nothing, the MT wanders around a bit, and Ony gets out of position for a few seconds. Sometimes, she'll turn to face the MT in his mis-position, and I'll get the tail punt. Somtimes, it's 1 whelp, rarely, it's me in the very back of the whelp area, popping every last egg. Our guild is really, really laid back, and we don't use any voice communication software, so I don't know if anyone is cursing me out. :)

Here's a somewhat interesting and irritating tangent: Ony has dropped the Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire for us 7 of the last 8 times now. I honestly think there's something wrong with our loot tables. Our last 7 Rag kills have been perdition blade and band of accuria (we've never gotten onslaught girdle, spinal reaper, band of sulf, malistar's defender, you name it, we haven't gotten it) . I picked up the last Perdition Blade (all of the rogues present had it!). A Shaman rolling around with a Perdition Blade -- you should see all the hate /tells I get. I've become the guild mascott, a Shaman with perdition blade and ancient cornerstone grimoire.
"Yay! We did it!"
"Who are you?"
"Um, uh... just ... a guy." *flee*

Yeah, English is obviously not his first language. It makes it harder to be subtle while something is going very wrong. I know first had from trying to coach in French, which I knew about as well as that guy knows English.

There is also a Razorgore one out there somewhere (no link sorry). Apparently somebody AOE fears his pack of dragonkin. I'll let you speculate what happens to their dee-kay-pee balance after that.

The Dives collection is growing:

Fan sites are springing up including this handy raid assistant tool for Raid Leaders which may owe a thing or two to Dives:

Psychology is interesting. In football in England pretty well everyone swears, it's part of being manly and competitive. I've drunk with people who have real problems stringing together a full sentence without a swearword in it. I think we swear more here in Europe than people do in America although it's very influenced by social demographic.

Dives is Scandinavian which means that although there's some accent his English will be excellent. It's not lack of vocabulary which is why he's swearing so much, he's choosing his words because they have impact (and release some tension too)

At the end of the day the people in his guild support him and are happy to stay there so clearly for some people he is fine. I think I'd get fed up if he was my raid leader though, either that or laugh my head off so much I run into whelps and lose dkp

In my current guild we have a Finnish guild leader too but he's much more laid-back. He sounds a bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger. So we get things like "melee dps now!" in a very flat Terminator voice which is quite amusing. He never swears though
