It was a close race, but it looks like I managed to learn how to use Mambo enough to create a
Community Page linked off the main Lurker Lounge home page sooner than Blizzard released the Burning Crusade. *Whew* If only Bolty had told me earlier how easy it was, I would've done it sooner! *Ducks*
So, this now begs the question: What sites should be included in it? Tell me what sites you have found useful to your gaming experience over time and why they have been useful. Think in terms of what would be useful to a person who has played a little bit of World of Warcraft but who is now interested in branching out and finding out a bit of what's really going on in the game.

Some sites that I think would be useful:
WoW Guru - often lists items that aren't on Thottbot/Allakhazam for whatever reason (items that haven't come out yet for example) and has some interesting guides on the forums (including a very useful one on good grinding areas for 1-60)
Goblin Workshop - Another quest/item/whatnot database, similar to Thottbot or Allakhazam
If you're planning on listing other fansites, I'd in particular suggest The Basin's WoW forums/wiki (
http://www.theamazonbasin.com/wow/forums) or the ElitistJerks site (
http://www.elitistjerks.com). Both of these tend to have some good strategy/technical discussion posts. The EJ site has had a lot of discussion on recent discoveries about glancing blows as well as an amazingly useful rogue EQ spreadsheet for a Combat Daggers build.
Tichondrius
Arnath - UD Warlock (Tailoring/Herbalism)
Seirei - Troll Priest (Mining/Skinning)
Bhim - Tauren Warrior (Mining/Herbalism)

Much faster loading and easier to use than the official Blizzard-provided equivalent.

A (what I consider) better talent calculator than the official ones:
http://www.wowhead.com/talent
Be sure to choose "wide mode"
A defense calculator (also an experience calculator from the drop down):

Conc / Concillian -- Vintage player of many games. Deadly leader of the All Pally Team (or was it Death leader?)
Terenas WoW player... while we waited for Diablo III.
And it came... and it went... and I played Hearthstone longer than Diablo III.

Thanks! Keep the suggestions coming, although I'd prefer that you look at the
Community Page first before submitting suggestions since several suggestions were already on the page. :D

The Warlocks Den, found at
http://www.wowmb.net, has been a great resource for the warlock class since closed beta.
History of Azeroth, found at
http://www.guildprogression.com/azeroth, tracks the raid progression of guilds on every server. It's mostly user submitted data, so the information isn't always accurate. It's still fun to see who's doing what.

http://shadowpanther.net/ -> Great resource for Rogue DPS/Resist/Weapons info and some miscellaneous info.
http://www.wow-equip.com/ -> Rogue profile storage that gives you DPS listings
Trade yourself in for the perfect one. No one needs to know that you feel you've been ruined!
