According to Eyonix:
Quote:I will say this, for expansion the debuff limit is being increased from 16 to 40, combined with the focus on smaller raid dungeons, Warlock players will have more freedom and opportunity to use their debuffing abilities with less limitation. Beyond this, all classes will have new spells, talents and abilities that they will bring to the table by the time level 70 is achieved.
That's such great news for really everybody but especially for warlocks. Shadow priests will also be happy, because their vampiric embraces and mind flay debuffs won't be knocking off the debuffs placed by other players. This combined with the 25-man cap will mean lots of debuff room for everybody.

Any words about buffs? I know that players are supposed to have 32 buff slots, and that seemingly is enough... But considering that there seem to be many "invisible" buffs, we often see cases of players losing various buffs during fights, even now. Now, imagine adding Shaman and Paladin buffs together...

Then again, what with the new 25man cap in xpack instances you wont have more then 2-3 shammies and 2-3 pallies in any raid really.

You will still get 2 blessings, an aura, SOE, and you will probably end up with mana tide, unless it's banned, which would be an indication of bad mechanics.

I feel the same way about locks currently. The mechanic held back locks when there were more than 1 or 2, but now with the 25 man groups, you won't have more than 2-3 so it becomes much less an issue just based on that.
