In order to help continue to make everyone's raiding experience enjoyable, there are a couple of things that we're making a bit clearer.
I know we all want to help make the raids go much smoother, much faster and not everyone plays at the same skill level, but instead of trying to correct bad behavior and poor playing publicly, please do not make the comments in /ra or over vent. Whisper the raid leader or if you aren't comfortable whispering the raid leader, whisper Morde instead. Please don't whisper the individual that you think needs talking to. It's best to have the information come from one person during the raids. If you aren't comfortable whispering Morde either, please, whisper me. If you think of a strategy or tactic that may work better than whatever we did that just made us wipe or almost wipe, whisper it to the raid leader or Morde or bring it up in guild chat and I can present it to them if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself. I'll give you full credit for the idea of course. :) Keep them out of /ra and off of vent unless the raid leaders ask for suggestions.
The Molten Core roster for Wednesdays is not yet set so folks who were in on this last run may not be able to be there on the next run and folks who have consistently been able to go but were waitlisted instead may be seeing a regular spot with the changes. Have patience. We're still working some things out. The Keepers are also looking at a way to fairly rotate in folks who have been repeatedly waitlisted. They are also taking steps to make sure that raids run by Niz aren't vastly different than ones run by Morde (for an example) so the raid leadership should feel more consistent.
Please remember to read (or re-read) the KotD Raid Info, especially the following passages:
We are guests on the Keepers' runs. They like us and they want us there otherwise they wouldn't keep inviting us back, but we are just guests in their house so don't break their china cabinet and spit on the carpet. Tormenting the pet cat is fine though.;) Thanks all and happy raiding. :)

Quote:Regulars List
Our weekly raids are a multi-guild affair. Towards the goal of progressing from week to week, we have established, through personal invitation, a list of regular attendees (friends that have said they can be there regularly). These folks have committed to being there every time and are guaranteed a spot in the raid. The list of regulars is maintained in a sticky post at the top of each Raid Forum.
A regular will be back-filled from the queue if they are not online 15 minutes prior to first pull time without prior notification to the raid leader. A regular will be moved to the alternate list due to unexpected lack of attendance. If they miss 50% of the raids (notification or not) within a 6 week time-span, or miss 2 raids consecutively without notifying the raid leader ahead of time as to why they will miss.
When a regular gives prior notification that they are going to be late, their spot will be reserved for 30 minutes after first pull if possible. (vital classes for specific fights and short raids being the obvious exception to this)
Alternates to the regular list are those that are committed to raiding but cannot make it every week, or on time. They however, have committed to helping out, if they can. They are also folks who are in the queue to being on the regular list if a spot opens up.
Quote:Expectation for Raiders
Raid regulars should be signed up on phpRaid at least one day before the raid. All raiders given a spot in the raid on phpRaid (regulars and those moved up from queue) should be online 5 min. before official invite time, and near the instance 10-15 min before the first pull time. The alternates still in the queue should be online, anywhere in the world at first pull time.
If attendees are not online and in raid at 15 minutes prior to first pull time, their spot is forfeited unless they gave prior notice. This way if there is need, the alternate can start traveling towards the instance to make it there for first pull.
First pull should occur promptly when scheduled, if not earlier. There is no need to wait for full raid to start clearing trash, ( at least not for ZG and AQ20 ). If the raid is not filled by then, RL will continue filling spots. A MT or MA will be responsible for pulls and assignments.
It is expected that all raiders will use Ct_Raid and Ventrillo to help in organizing and facilitating the raids
