My wife is very very pregnant. She has been this way for a while. There has been problems before with this condition, but those problems are not manifesting themselves now. Her hawt little body seems to be ok with this condition now.
Everybody's worst fears may yet be confirmed.

All alone, or in twos,
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall.
Some hand in hand
And some gathered together in bands.
The bleeding hearts and artists
Make their stand.
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers wall.
"Isn't this where...."

"Problems with this condition"? Like, having to deal with crying babies?

No.
Many miscarriages and near fatal hemoraging.

Hi Doc
I am still boggled at the thought of you becoming a Daddy. :o May the rest of the pregnancy go well and your wife be delivered of a fine and healthy child. :)
As to names, my inclination was to re-cycle family names for my children - names that went with their surname too. That may not be quite so attractive to you, but you could delve into your wife's background and match up with your predilection for kilts....
* ShadowHM votes for Angus ! (This, of course, is in no way influenced by the fact that one of my offspring also carries that name. :P I just like that name a lot. :whistling:)

Congrats! ... I think what stunned me was the whole concept of "Dad".
I vote for Neo (Tswana word means 'gift' ) if its a boy plus you get to explain for his entire life that you did NOT name him after the movie character, or my favorite girl name Genevieve.

Heh, isn't that a negative?:)
I know a guy named Thor and that seems to work out pretty well for him. I plan on naming my kids after Transformers though... and make them refer to me as Optimus Prime.

I have no idea who Zoltar is, but that hat/mask thingy is awesome.
Edit:
Zoltar reminds me of Zoltan...

Angus is actually a name I had previously considered, to be completely honest Shadow.
Another boys name that stands out is Martyjn Marleigh. Very, very old names there. Gaelic.
Of course, I may very well follow through with a threat made decades ago, when after a night of heavy drinking, I swore I'd name my first child 'Trouble' and then turn it loose on the world.
Because I am old. And crochety. And eccentric. And I can get away with stuff like that.
