Servers went down Sunday at 10am PST, supposedly for 15 min - 60 min. But, they didn't come up. After digging into it, I found this;
MMO-Champion forum -- Mass Murder! Happening on other servers and of faction?
Evidently, a hacking group - led by Jadd on ownedcore, planned a mass event with level 1 trial accounts. They were able to intercept/alter network traffic enough to get access to GM commands.
