I'm not going to lie, I looked at the website, and at first thought it was an old game...

Oh sweet, those are the same guys who made Depths of Peril & Din's Curse. I picked up Depths of Peril in one of those Indie Bundles that come around. It wasn't the main draw for me in the pack but I ended up spending the most time with it. Fantastically strange Diablo-style ARPG if you can get past the somewhat dated graphics. There were lots of unique mechanics involved. From what I've heard Din's Curse is similar.

Diablo in space sounds like a cool concept in theory. Should be a neat game.
