Tank/Melee Wizard build....

PvM build of course. Thoughts? I've looked at quite a few nice builds on Barb, Monk and DH, but Wizard seems more difficult because the standout skills arent as obvious.

If the intention is to be a melee wizard, then I think you can forgo the Disintegrate, Magic Missle, and maybe Spectral Blade skills. I would add Teleport - Safe Passage, Slow Time - TimeWarp, and Magic Weapon - Force Magic or Blood Magic. Wave of Force - Impactful Wave could also be really useful to keep the Wizard from being overwhelmed by too many enemies.

Do you know if Diamond Skin scales with gear? I'm worried that it might be good early on but might become useless as the Wizard reaches Inferno difficulty.

Just messing around, here's what I'm thinking of for a melee wizard:

I don't know what the Archon skills are, so I took it out. It's possible that it might be more powerful for a melee wizard than I realize, though. Also, Unstable Anomaly could be useful instead of Evocation.

Of course, this assumes there's a seperate ability to you know, just hit things with your sword. If not, then... I'd have to rethink things again.
